Position Summary:

The objective of this position is to provide structured and efficient support across supply chain operations, with a focus on procurement, vendor communication, and sustainability data tracking. The Supply Chain & Purchasing position plays a key role in maintaining accurate purchasing records, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, and contributing to the company’s sustainability and compliance efforts. This role supports cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations across departments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing & Procurement:

    • Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP for approved purchases, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
    • Communicate with vendors to confirm estimated ship dates and delivery timelines.
    • Maintain accurate vendor account data, including contacts, addresses, and purchasing terms.
    • Manage facility equipment procurement to improve production efficiency and quality.

    Sourcing & Supplier Management:

    • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
    • Negotiate pricing and contracts while ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards.

    Sustainability & Compliance:

    • Research and document material content across all component levels for compliance with sustainability certifications.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to meet Red Free, Green, and Declare certification requirements.
    • Prepare and submit Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs).
    • Develop sustainable procurement practices for recycled materials and waste recycling processes.

    Bill of Materials (BOM) & Cost Analysis:

    • Create, review, and maintain production BOMs, incorporating labor, waste, and setup costs.
    • Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.

    Logistics & Inventory:

    • Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment tracking and ensure accurate customs documentation.
    • Assist with inventory management, production orders, and shipping processes.
    • Support cycle count operations and real-time inventory updates in collaboration with the Operations Manager.

    Production & Systems Support:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of Production SOPs.
    • Set up new part numbers in SAP, including Work Link Scheduling and Source List setup for MRP.
    • Ensure alignment between operations, production, and order schedules.

    Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Support:

    • Perform additional tasks as needed to support purchasing, logistics, and production workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or purchasing roles.
    • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP).

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic analysis).
    • Experience with creating and managing Purchase Orders (POs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
    • Understanding of cost analysis and production planning processes.
    • Knowledge of logistics coordination and freight forwarding documentation.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills for vendor interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and document management.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience in sustainable procurement and regulatory compliance related to green building certifications (e.g., Declare, LEED, GreenGuard).
  • Experience in manufacturing environments or production support.
  • Working knowledge of MRP processes and materials planning

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Engineer to support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for our lighting products. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain experience in product lifecycle management and manufacturing support.

Position Responsibilities:

  • BOM Management & Documentation

    • Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for lighting fixtures and assemblies.
    • Ensure BOMs reflect up-to-date design specifications, revisions, and part substitutions.
    • Enter and manage BOM data in the company’s ERP system (SAP).
    • Support product data accuracy by maintaining part numbers, descriptions, and materials lists.
    • Assist with cost analysis by ensuring accurate component pricing and quantities are reflected in BOMs.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams to validate and update BOMs.
    • Participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
    • Provide production and procurement teams with clear, consistent BOM documentation.

    Technical Interpretation & Problem Solving

    • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications for BOM accuracy.
    • Identify and resolve BOM-related discrepancies or issues that impact cost, manufacturing, or sourcing.
    • Assist with root cause analysis of BOM errors and implement corrective actions.

    Process Improvement & Support

    • Support efforts to standardize BOM structures, naming conventions, and change control processes.

    • Assist with cost analysis and value engineering by maintaining accurate component-level data.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 0–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or product development environment (internships accepted).
    • Experience with BOM creation, product documentation, or ERP systems is a plus.

    Technical Skills

    • Basic understanding of BOM structure, part numbering systems, and product lifecycle management.
    • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD); for reference and review purposes.
    • Comfortable reading spec sheets and engineering documentation.
    • Experience or exposure to ERP systems; SAP preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other documentation tools.

    Analytical & Organizational Abilities

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
    • Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to BOM and product data.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description: Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales Support

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative provides support to customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services. This includes order entry, quotations, and communicating with customers to fulfill requests to ensure customer satisfaction. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create and submit quotations using our CRM system to customers and representatives based on product specifications provided by agents or direct accounts, in 48hrs or less.
  • Assist customers with pre and post sales / product inquiries.
  • Prioritize, schedule, and receive all inbound communications/inquiries regarding product related items.
  • Work in conjunction with other Customer Service team members to ensure successful and timely responses to customer services inquiries that are generated by Sales team with the goal of exceeding expectations whenever possible, with urgency always in mind.
  • Manage data for all sales reporting using CRM systems.
  • Able to diagnose challenges and communicate effective responses via phone, email, and/or in-person.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree from a vocational college or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 year’s work experience within the lighting or related industries in customer service, inside sales, or equivalent.
  • Professional attitude: self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail orientated and a team player with a keen sense of urgency.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent requests accordingly.
  • Excellent Follow-Up skills.
  • Fast learner.
  • Skills in operating a PC computer-based platform.
  • Skills in the following software applications: Pivotal | Acrobat | Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
  • Nice to have but not required: SAP | AGI | AutoCAD | Photometric ToolBox | Bluebeam Revu
  • Previous architectural lighting industry or related experience is highly looked upon but not required
  • Fluent English, Italian is a plus.
