CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

Employment Type: Full Time Hourly
Position Location: USA Headquarters – Costa Mesa, CA

Main responsibilities in the position of the Production Control Assistant include but are not limited to:

-Production Coordination – Release and close Production Orders based on Master Schedule in a timely manner and work with Production Coordinator to ensure order schedule is being adhered to

-Supply Chain and ESD scheduling – Review materials on Purchase Orders to identify ship date from suppliers to generate Sales Order ship dates and communicate to CS team

-Inventory Check – Provide Customer Service stock levels and lead times of requested materials

-Cycle Counts – Release, conduct, and maintain list of materials to be included in weekly Cycle Count operations

-Costing – Perform and update Materials Costing for items prior to being shipped out

-Production Labels – Print labels for Sales Orders and production items

-BOMs Upkeep – Work with Engineering/Production to update and maintain BOMs as necessary

-Shipment QC – Perform Quality assurance of materials that are being shipped to ensure accuracy of items, quantities, label markings and are free of defects

-Inventory Upkeep – Maintain accurate inventory levels by reviewing goods movements and performing adjustments

-PN Generation – Create Sales PN, identify root PN from product matrix, create BOM and routing

-Other ad hoc responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

-HS education required
-1 year working in a similar position
-MS Suite knowledge required
-SAP knowledge preferred
-Professional attitude: self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail orientated and a team player with a keen sense of urgency
-The ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent requests accordingly
-Excellent Follow-Up skills
-Fast learner

Requirements/Responsibilities

-3–5 years of manufacturing planning experience.
-1–2 years’ experience in ERP software production planning modules.
-Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing environment.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Computer proficiency in MS Office
-Plans and schedules workflow for operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead time.
-Meet with department managers and supervisors to determine status of assigned project.
-Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
-Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials.
-Maintains record keeping systems.
-Process orders and submit payment requests to the accounting department.
-Plans and schedules workflow for operation according to manufacturing sequences and lead time.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

-Knowledge of production management and material control system applications and software programs.
-Knowledge of expediting methods and techniques.
-Knowledge of inventory control practices.
-Manage inventory, open order production, logistics, shipping, & quality and maintain a real-time status system to provide current updates to all teams.
-Work with the Operations Manager, sales team, Warehouse & Production team to update management and the sales team with statuses on each open order.
-Manage open orders by obtaining information from vendors with details such as expected lead times, and shipping dates while also tactfully pushing for the completion of objectives.
-Communicate with internal and external contacts via phone, email, and various software systems.
-Maintain an in-depth understanding of management’s vision and work with a high level of independence to achieve this vision within their respective roles and responsibilities.
-Follow best practices and protocols to achieve efficient movement and execution or responsibilities.
-Utilize ERP systems for all inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, creation of documents, and internal communication.
-Communicate with logistics companies for shipping and receiving details as needed.
-Provide support to the team in procurement, and customer service.
-Knowledge of expediting methods and techniques.
-Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff and various departmental representatives.
-Ability to monitor and coordinate assignment of assigned sales orders to meet production and delivery schedules.
-Knowledge of inventory control practices.
-Demonstrable excellent interpersonal communication skills.
-Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
-Must be a strong team player; and must be detailed-oriented.
-SAP experience a plus

Targetti USA is seeking Regional Sales Managers for the East Coast (excluding NYC) with the following responsibilities:

 

Managing Regional agent partners.

-Specification sales calls promoting Targetti and Duralamp brands to the following:
–Lighting designers
–Architects
–Engineers
–Contractors

-Generating profitable sales of Targetti and Duralamp brand products.

-Providing sales forecast data for annual sales budgeting.

-Providing market feedback for product development, market positioning, marketing materials.

-Industry events (trade shows, local chapter DLF, IES, IALD).

-Weekly sales meeting attendance.

-Agent project review vs. budget and upcoming pipeline.

-Weekly reports of activates/projects/clients.

 

We are looking for people that are familiar with the lighting industry that want to learn and grow with our company and seek long term opportunities our worldwide group can offer.

The home office in Costa Mesa,CA and would be the standard work location for candidates living within 50/miles of this location. Remote working would be considered for candidates located in other regions of the USA.

Qualifications:

-3-5 years industry related experience.

-4 year degree.

-Sales training program.

-Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines.

-Strong work ethic; extremely detail oriented and efficient.
