Aarp Washington D.C - Targetti

AARP Restoration Project, Washington, DC

Project Description

OPX is a user-centered design consultancy based in Washington, DC. They were tasked with strategically re-imagining how AARP employees, tools, processes, and the office space could successfully interact to deliver on the organization’s mission of “Real Possibilities”. According to the OPX case study, the result is a 24,000 square foot, two-story collection of vibrant, flexible spaces, designed to meet the needs of all types of work, foster an environment of innovation, and promote outside-the-box thinking. Employees are able to collaborate in flexible areas designed for both conferencing and discussion (complete with writable walls, ubiquitous, easy-to use technology, and customized furniture by OPX), and still have the ability to work independently when desired.

As a part of this design fluidity, OPX selected Targetti’s JEDI versatile projector for a minimally visible façade installation.

Minimalist

JEDI combines aesthetics and resistance with ideal performance in a versatile projector that provides a continuous linear look with elegant lines in brushed steel with a flush glass. The versatile projector was installed in the cove of the lobby ceiling to create a minimally visible continuous line of light.
