Located in California’s Shenandoah Valley, Jeff Runquist Winery opened a beautifully designed tasting room and patio located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills. Jeff Runquist Wines, the 2021 Winery of the Year, is a small producer of single vineyard designated red wines from throughout California. After eighteen years of producing wines for others, Jeff Runquist launched his own label with the 1995 vintage of the “Z” Zinfandel from the Massoni Ranch in Amador County’s Shenandoah Valley. In the fall of 2006, Jeff purchased a five acre parcel in Amador County’s Shenandoah Valley. There, he constructed a small winery and tasting room that opened in May of 2008. In the spring of 2010, a larger production-oriented facility was erected adjacent to the tasting room, and a second facility was completed in 2013.In May of 2021, the tasting room expansion project began. This included a private tasting room with outdoor back patio, 4 new offices, conference room, kitchen expansion, and 2 new bathrooms. Construction was completed in 2022 and is now hosting its wine club members with an exclusive tasting experience.

Enriching the space, the specially crafted wine bar shines bright with DURATAPE ESSENTIAL WHITE ES strip luminaires. Each of the custom-built millwork shelfs delicately incorporate linear strip accent luminaires, to ensure each bottle is vibrantly displayed.
