On September 18, 2026, Targetti USA, Alliance Lighting, and L’Observatoire International came together for Soirée de Catirpel^TM, an evening celebrating light, design, architecture, and the connections that bring the lighting community together and the deep friendship between the nations of France and America.

Held the Residence de France, the French Ambassadors US residence in Washington, D.C. The evening offered a beautiful garden setting inspired by Targetti lighting.  Guests included lighting industry professionals and industry partners gathered to connect and experience the atmosphere created through thoughtful lighting design by L’Observatoire International.

Celebrating Light and Design

Soirée de Catirpel was an opportunity to showcase the role lighting plays in shaping architectural experiences. From subtle architectural illumination to carefully considered details, and the relationship between light and the spaces we inhabit.

Bringing the Vision to Life

At the center of the evening was CATIRPEL, a form follower offering flexible articulation and controlled optics to seamlessly integrate light into organic mounting positions. Its refined optics and adaptable design demonstrate how lighting can enhance architecture and elevate the experience of a space.

Guests also explored BULLETTO, a remarkably compact profile delivers high center-beam candela, combining precision optics and discreet integration to project controlled, high-intensity light exactly where it’s needed.

A Night to Remember

Set within the distinctive surroundings of La Maison Française, the evening provided an intimate backdrop for conversation and connection. Guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, meaningful conversations, and shared appreciation for design, architecture, and light.
